Electronic music, lyrics, pop and rock.

SPOT 05 sounds out the present state of music production in Denmark and features 40 fresh bands on 4 stages in and around Riderhuset in Aarhus.

Our intention with SPOT 05 is to concentrate our efforts for a few days. To gather representatives from all the active layers within the sphere of Danish rhythmic music. Musicians, songwriters, venue, concert, booking and record company personnel, organisers and cultural representatives. A music-minded audience. Volunteers, staff, visitors and guests, all together in one large ruminating pot purée.

We hope that SPOT 05: -

• will inspire the many participating bands and musicians, and that they in turn will inspire each other and take advantage of the opportunity to create contacts - not least to our European guests from the various professional musical environments.
• that many will listen to the lectures and panels and consequently participate in discussions of a cultural nature. – In short… Be There.

SPOT 05 is only possible because so many people contribute to its structure, contents and execution – therefore: Thanks to everyone who, to a larger or smaller extent, practically or financially, has helped and supported the event.

Finally, special thanks to the people from Amager Bio, Husets Musikteater and Studenterhuset in Aalborg, who manage all the stages this year.
