This special, subtle band who, according to their press release, have taught Tricky to swim - can be enjoyed in all stages of lucidness. Whale have managed to collate a number of different elements from the modern universe of music, these are shaken together to a cocktail of hard hitting rock, acidic ambient rap, punk, techno and bluesy dance. From the lyrically dreamy and fast rapping to bongopop and surprisingly raw distortion-guitar. They have just released a new album under the title ' All Disco Dance Must End In Broken Bones', which includes something for every taste.
